Simplant Implant Planning

For the more complicated implant case we often use a specialist x-ray that will allow us to produce a 3-D image of a Jaw on our computer screen. On this virtual Jaw it is possible to place the implants with great accuracy.

Once we are happy with our planned treatment we can have a 'stent' manufactured that will allow us to reproduce the planned implant positions in the patients mouth.

This technology will allow us visualise any potential difficulties in the treatment and see the final result before we start.

The ultimate extension of this technique allows us to plan the placement of implants and the provision of a fixed temporary bridge all on one day.
