Bar Supported Denture

There are a significant number of patients to whom a denture never becomes a satisfactory solution. Either it is that a denture doesn't work for them or that they require teeth that are firmer than a denture can provide to give them the confidence they require.

It is a particular problem in the lower jaw and the most sophisticated way to anchor the denture is to place four implants on which a custom made bar is constructed .The denture is held firmly on the bar by retentive studs and caps.
